experiencing nature
We are interested in encouraging people to explore our natural heritage - with an Oregon focus. We strive to stimulate interest in our geological and biological histories through field trips in Oregon, research into local topics, and displays based in part on our collections.
While we do not presently have an independent exhibit facility, we exhibit some of our collections in a cooperative effort with other organizations (see collections). We just built a new traveling exhibit that features Oregon's first dinosaur find. natural history museum
Join us to spend a little time simply to take in the landscapes, plants, and animals among which we live.
